Question time!

Snow at Creswick

I have always been interested in the weather. I constantly look the weather forecast and inform my family. This year we are having a weather cycle called La Nina, which is caused by the oceans variations in temperatures. The result of this is that we will most likely have a wetter summer than we usually do in Australia.

“What sort of weather do you like? Hot, cold? Wet, dry?”

My answer to this question would be this, I don’t really have a favourite season. I guess it depends on where you live. For instance, we just moved up to Castlemaine, which has been a big adjustment from being down south, because its been so hot and dry! When we were down there, we constantly had mould, moisture and dampness and I just never felt really dry. Since I’ve been here I’ve been able to dry the chickens cage, air out everything that just never dried properly and just not having to worry about things getting mouldy.

I would really love to hear your answers in the comments below. 😀

  1. I DON’T love being cold! Although I do like a crisp morning followed by a sunny day

  2. I love cold nights when you can snuggle up in a worm bed. Then there’s the crispy mornings with all the frost and something the little baby spiders everywhere in Autumn, but definitely prefer wormer to cold!

  3. Thanks for posing the question Cosmo.
Give me variety please. A good Melbourne day with a little of each season..
No extremes though, no snow or temperatures over 30 degrees. And rain for the garden.
